Job Description	Work-Study Research Assistant Program Faculty Name: Caitlin Lombardi Faculty Department: Human Development and Family Sciences General Research Focus: The focus of my research is on early childhood development and programs and policies that influence young children and their families. The student will help with recruiting and tracking research participants and child care programs, data entry, and other research related tasks. The student will learn about data collection, intervention research, and programs and policies for young children in CT. Job Description: A "Student Interview & Survey Research Assistant - 202" will assist faculty in research efforts utilizing survey research techniques. A student in this position may collect and record data, code/plot and analyze data, review forms and/or notes for completeness, and assist with other components of the research process.
Job Requirements	Job Requirements - A student must: Be an undergraduate student with a federal work-study award Be able to operate computer, phone, and/or other research equipment Have strong communication skills (verbal and written) Be able to maintain confidentiality Complete required research reflections and a professional development experience Meet with an OUR staff member for one advising appointment each semester to discuss learning, goals, and next steps Some knowledge of early childhood development and child care programs Some research skills Preferred qualifications: Bilingual
